Friendship Counselling
Some of our most meaningful relationships — finally given space.
“Friendships are one of the most meaningful and emotionally rich relationships we have — yet they’re often left out of the therapy room.”
Working together toward repair
Friendship counselling provides a structured environment where friends experiencing tension, disconnection, or hurt can work together toward resolution. Both individuals receive equal attention in exploring relationship dynamics, unspoken feelings, misunderstandings, and unmet needs — while preserving the bond between them.
Whether you’re processing a recent fallout or longing for a deeper, more mutual connection, this is a space to understand your needs and strengthen your friendship.
This space might be right for you if…
- You’re navigating a rupture or fallout and want to repair
- There’s ongoing tension, jealousy, or miscommunication
- One or both of you feel emotionally unsupported or unheard
- Boundaries feel unclear or are causing friction
- You’re grieving a shift in your friendship and want to process it together
- You’re exploring how past experiences affect how you show up in friendship
- You value the friendship deeply and want to strengthen your connection
Both voices valued and respected
I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where both voices are valued and respected. My approach integrates relational and trauma-informed methods alongside person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural perspectives.
Together, sessions examine communication patterns, emotional safety, attachment styles, and the cultural expectations that can influence how a friendship feels and functions.
